Remi's Bus

HOPE + ACCEPTANCE + IDENTITY + PURPOSE 
We are raising the standards  for individuals with disabilities. Remi's Bus is not just a program but a lifestyle. Remi’s Bus was inspired by my daughter and her two sister’s . Remi's Bus is a non-profit organization 501c 3  . As a believer in God I know my daughter was born perfect. Her weakness is made strong through God.  Everyone has a purpose and desires acceptance and hope!
Raising a special needs child to adulthood has allowed me to personally experience the various stages of her development.  At a young age, there are limited resources provided through traditional education up to the age of 22. Once these young adults graduate from high school, the resources and programs are even less.    Availability for enrollment is typically a challenge as the small number of available programs often have a waiting list.   Meaningful and challenging programs that offer continuing education and social/life skills both academically and socially, are a challenge for many families. 
These adults desire to learn and experience the same standard of life as you and I.  Remi’s Bus will raise the standard of lifestyle  for individuals with disabilities.  By expanding the possiblities we will provide,HOPE + ACCEPTANCE + IDENTITY + PURPOSE  
Remi's Bus will  provide an environment in which these adults can be themselves, enjoy friendships, and realize their goals.   

Remi’s Bus provides opportunity. Opportunity allows for growth. Growth allows for personal achievement.  As these adults continue to develop in all aspects of life, there’s a sense of accomplishment being built. Confidence and self-esteem are invaluable tools that they will need and use in all of their endeavors.  Remi’s Bus hopes to capture and enhance the very best in these adults to help achieve fulfilling lives. 
     
We will empower, celebrate, and educate ourselves and our communities.  We will continue education in a unique social experience. Providing education and  life skills programs. Exploring  art, music, dance and healthy living. Learning  cooking, money skills, serving in volunteer jobs. Community field trips exploring restaurants, movies, shopping, community events and more!

Remi's Bus Girls- Friday's 5:30- 8:30
Remi's Bus Day Program Starting March 29!
Remi's Bus Cheers- Once a month Saturday Program starting in April!
Remi's Bus Camp in July
 
Your donations will allow us to :

Rent space for Remi's Bus Girls program. With our own space we will be able to serve more young ladies and enjoy more activities! 
 
Support our 2 day Remi's Bus program and expand to a full 5 day program.  This is a great need in our community.
