Help Us Remove Tanner’s Malignant Oral Sarcoma
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Christopher.
I adopted Tanner, in 2018 from the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, MA. As we got to know each other I could see his passion to meet people and explore. He’s got a big personality and loves to share himself with everyone he meets. He loves attention and I have witnessed him bring a smile to everyone’s face whom he has crossed paths with. Everyday is an adventure and he can’t wait to get out every day to introduce himself to new people, get his belly rubbed, play and explore.
Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with a malignant sarcoma (rapid growing cancer in the soft tissue) on his bottom jaw inside of his mouth when I brought him to our veterinarian for an infection.
It has grown quite rapidly within the past month- I’d had his teeth cleaned on 11/3 and we hadn’t seen anything then. It continues to grow and affect his comfort, eating and play and hope to have it removed as soon as we can.
I have currently set our goal amount to the total cost estimate by the specialist veterinary surgeon- including CT Scan and surgery to remove from his lower mandible.
I will be posting updates as they come.
