Hello ,

My name is Renee Koehler.

I am 58 years old and a very hard working person. I came to Pueblo in 2014 because I thought was a very beautiful place to live with lots of sunshine and snow surrounded by majestic mountains near by.

I was very lucky to find a mobile home in Pueblo West that was owner financed that was easy for me to afford but it needed a lot of work. ( It still has a ways to go) I only owe four more payments and it will be mine and I can finally start to put more money in to fixing everything else that needs done. I have lived here for all these years with no real heat source and my plumbing is exposed so it often freezes up and then begins to leak. So I keep it turned off at the main valve and only turn it on as needed to keep the the water damage to a minimum.

I am an older single lady with a little pack of fur babies to keep a roof over . Living alone is sometimes hard and there are often things I can not do and although it has been a challenge I have managed to survive so far. But a few months ago my back began to really bother me and has slowed me down quite a bit. After visiting my doctor to address pain management it was discovered that I actually have Advanced Degenerative Disc Disease in my lumbar spine. My lower back is really painful a lot of times but I am still able to get to work most days. A few years ago I started a little business called the Poo Guru and basically I go around and remove pet waste from several areas of Pw and Pueblo.

I have been informed that I need surgery to correct my vertibrae as some have slipped forward and some have slipped backward and I have lost all the cushion in between and have some bone on bone issues. So now I am at the end of my house note and not able to work the hours needed to complete the payment schedule and I am in danger of losing my home at the same time I need to be hospitalized for a few days to complete the surgery I need. If I don't get the surgery soon I could end up not being able to walk or have any feeling at all in my legs. If this happens I would not be able to continue my business and possibly lose my home with only four payments to go . So I am asking for help to raise the funds needed to pay off the property and I would be able to relax and focus on my recovery and rehabilitation which will likely take 6 to 8 weeks.

I am very worried about losing the the home I have worked so hard to keep. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will only be used to secure my living situation. I don't know many people here and I have no where to go if I lose this house. Please find it in your heart to donate what you can and may God bless you. Thank you so much .
