With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Renee Sullivan on Tuesday, February 13th, around 1pm. Renee was a devoted wife, dedicated mom, amazing grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She had unexpected medical complications that lead to her passing and leaving her family and friends with a hole in their lives.

During this extraordinarily difficult time, we are reaching out for your support. These funds will assist with the medical costs, celebration of life expenses, and ongoing bills. We are grateful for any donations you can provide. All donations will be going directly to the Sullivan family. Renee Antoinette Hopwood Sullivan, 61, of Santee, California, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024, in Cleburne. She was born December 19, 1962 in Indianapolis, Indiana to William Edbert and Karen Jannette Thomason Hopwood. Renee married Patrick Louis Sullivan on February 3, 1996 in San Diego, California. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Renee was the glue of the family, keeping the whole family together and connected was her calling, especially during Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving holidays. She was a ray of sunshine, with a smile that would light up a room. Her door was always open, always welcoming and good-hearted. Renee was truly a beautiful person inside and out. She loved arts and crafts, including painting and arranging flowers like a pro! Renee enjoyed playing the accordion, loved swimming in her pool and hosting pool parties and BBQs for friends and family. Renee will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Sullivan, Sr.; son, Patrick Sullivan, Jr., and wife, Kaycee; daughter, Megan Sullivan; grandchildren, Raegan Sullivan, and Patrick Sullivan, Ill; brothers, Daniel Hopwood and wife, Leslie, Brian Hopwood and wife, Michelle, and David Hopwood and wife, Kimberly; sisters, Jan Sims and husband, Mike, and Nanci Hayward; numerous loving nieces, nephews, and friends; and the "special" friends - you should know who you are; and Gus the fur baby. Renee was preceded in death by her parents, William and Karen Hopwood.
