Hi,I am trying to start a go fund me for my mother,Renee Z.,who recently had her food stamp benefits stolen. The people that somehow got her information (police thinking skimmer from local store). It’s been so tough for her lately because of having to go through this,plus going back and forth from store to store and doing investigative work herself to try to get video footage and proof that her benefits were indeed stolen. I’m her oldest child but I have two younger brothers and she’s been really struggling lately,and not having the extra money to fall back on makes a big difference. My mom doesn’t deserve this at all. These food stamps would have helped her with both brothers birthdays coming in the next 2 months. These people literally stolen almost $3,000 of back stamps she finally received,and after a week or so they were gone! My mom worked so hard to try to get them back. She has contacted everyone she could for help,from news stations,OIG,police departments,stores,etc. I just wanted to make this in hopes to be able to help my mom some. I’m sure she would greatly appreciate any help from anyone! I just want to help in any way,because she’s really been through so much. So if anyone would like to help us out.
