Hi, my name is Renee!
I graduated from high school this year, and I attend Shoreline Communtiy College. I work at Starbucks and I love it! I also lead the Young Womens LifeGroup at my church!
For my first quarter in college, and I took two classes, with one of the people I treasure most, Jacey Carrier. Our English 101 class had a curriculum of different creation accounts, the scientific revolution, and evolution. It was a difficult class to get through, but I gained the ability to determine my own beliefs!
I also began leading the Young Womens Life Group! We have had countless fun adventures together and I am so blessed by the women that God has brought into this group!
A friend of mine did a YWAM DTS last year, and I knew it was something I needed to look into immediately. I researched different mission trips this summer, and YWAM Mazatlan called my name! With fall quarter beginning, I decided to focus on school, and and think about doing a mission trip another time. A few weeks back I began thinking about the trip agian, and I've been praying and meditating about it.
I want to go to do a Discipleship Training School in Mazatlan, Mexico because God has made it so clear to me that this is where he wants me! In Mazatlan I will not know anyone or anything, and I will have to completely rely on God! I am beyond excited for this oppertunity, and what God will do on the trip!
I leave in 30 days, and the trip is quite costly...
The Discipleship Training School costs $3,500.
The Outreach phase will cost $2,000-$4,000.
Plane Ticket will cost $573.
I have a good amount of money I've saved and will put forth for this trip, though I am still running short...
I am working as many hours as I can at Starbucks, and once we are in Mazatlan we will fundraise for the Outreach phase.
