Support Renelle's Fight against Multiple Sclerosis

Our sister, Renelle Fields Harris, is a 36-year old Luling, Louisiana native. She is a wife of almost 13 years and a mother of a 14 year old son, 11 year old daughter, and a 9 year old daughter. In addition, she is a loving daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, niece, cousin, and friend to many more. Renelle and her family moved to Alaska in 2015 and now reside in Eagle River, AK.


Renelle was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis just 4 years ago before moving to Alaska. On March 19, 2019, she was hospitalized at Providence Alaska Medical Center with the worst relapse her doctors had ever seen. Our parents flew in and has been by her side, along with her husband and children. Since admitted, she has undergone aggressive treatment and against all odds, is still alive but still very sick. Unfortunately, despite her doctor's best efforts, Renelle's MS has become very aggressive causing her to regress. She has minimal muscular movements, speech, and a feeding tube has been placed due to her inability to swallow food on her own. Her doctors have recently informed us that there is nothing more that they can do for her there and that she can only be transferred to a skilled nursing facility at this point. 



We strongly believe in Renelle's healing and recovery! Our family is asking for your help to bring her home via medical air transportation so she can receive specialized treatment at The NeuroMedical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. This facility offers an expert team of neurological specialists, MS-trained nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and would provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art care to Renelle's form of MS in order to get her to not only walk, talk, and care for herself again, but the capability of being the most loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend she's always been. In addition, Renelle will be able to be surrounded by the love and support of family.



Due to Renelle's current state, it is not recommended that she travel with public air transportation. Unfortunately, medical air transport is not covered by her insurance and is very expensive to do so. Therefore, all funds raised will go directly towards medical air transportation, medical expenses, and all other medical accommodations that will be made towards Renelle's health and recovery. 

My family and I have created this page in hope of supporting our sister's journey. Rhea Fields-Raymond will be acting as the beneficiary and withdrawing all funds for Renelle.
