“Rene's got a dodgy tummy… “

This fund is for our dear Rene Crouch ...lovely sunshiney mother, friend, counsellor, poet and songbird.

Rene has suffered with ulcerative colitis much of her young life and has had major surgeries. Now as a single parent, she needs another big operation.

The NHS waiting list is at least a year… in the meanwhile there is a very real risk of malignant transformation.

The only way to remove that risk in good time is to go private, but the cost will be at least £11,000 and will involve quite a long time of recovery and impaired mobility and she will have to reduce the hours she works

It won't be an easy time and we want to surround her with the same care that she give to all of us.

Part of that care is taking some of the financial pressure off her shoulders by creating this fund.

If she has the surgery soon the prognosis is good and she can live a fairly normal life…. so to all the people who care for Rene, it would be brilliant if you could help support her by contributing something, however large or small, towards her treatment, every penny will help.
