Renewed Hope in Dreamore

The world watched in profound disbelief as flames swept through our beloved city, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Yet, amidst the devastation, it has been inspiring to witness our community rally together, extending hands and hearts to support one another. 

Annemarie has faced devastating losses due to fire twice. Last week, her property in Topanga was destroyed in the Palisades Fire, and in 2018, she lost her home in the Woolsey Fire. Following the first disaster, she was diagnosed with PTSD and subsequently divorced. Before these tragedies, she had a successful career as a recruiter, helping founders and creatives grow their businesses. Her company was highly ranked in Forbes, and she took pride in inspiring other entrepreneurs, especially women. After the Woosley fire, she was truly broken and forced to shut down her company to focus on healing. 

Now, after another major fire, she is committed to her journey, although it has been difficult to face these challenges while still healing. Her Topanga land, "Dreamore," is a sanctuary for community, healing, and growth. It has become a haven for startup founders, artists, and diverse groups dedicated to making a positive impact. Losing Dreamore will have far-reaching consequences for many people.

On New Year’s Day, the community gathered for what unknowingly became the last celebration. However, we are determined to continue creating memories in this space, with your help. Due to the high development costs in the California Coastal region, we hadn’t yet started the house on the property. We had developed gardens and infrastructure, which all were uninsurable during this transitional phase. At Dreamore, we focus on hope rather than fear, and we appreciate your support in our journey.
