For those who wish to help lift us, in both prayer and support, for our family's second battle against brain cancer.

 

Our little warrior, Rennick, is yet again fighting a brain tumor. After seven years of remission, the rug has been pulled out from under us and this latest test is proving to be an entirely new challenge for our family.

 

After receiving tumor confirmation from a MRI July 21, 2021, we stayed in Dallas for two weeks where Renn completed 10 rounds of photon radiation therapy. He was released to return home to Lubbock Aug. 29 and will undergo home-based physical therapy to recover his ability to walk and use his left arm and hand again while he rebuilds his energy and stamina.

 

All in this fight together, Justin and I are staying home with Renn to assist him while he recovers and puts in work to be able to return to school and be with his friends - the only thing he continuosly talks about and is determined to do. Like so many others who cancer has robbed, all our warrior wants is to go back to his normal life as he knows it.

 

We know in these trying times there are countless in need of healing and help, and we certainly don't mean this to seem as if our story is more important than others. This is a chapter we hoped and prayed was there to stay in the past, but it appears we are faced with writing this one to the best of our ability. We're still an average family trying to make it work.

 

Your support will help to pay costs associated with Renn's treatment and recovery including multiple MRIs, 10 rounds of photon radiation therapy, in-home physical therapy two to three times a week, as well as some of our living expenses while I am not working.
