Renovation of Glen Ridge Ambulance Squad
Donation protected
Each year the Glen Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Squad responds to over 1,200 calls in Glen Ridge and neighboring communities. They are there for us when we need help. Now they need your help.
My name is Alan Breslin and my Scouts BSA Eagle Project is to refurbish the ambulance headquarters which will make it possible for volunteers to do their jobs.
I’m seeking $6500 to build an office area at the ambulance headquarters. The new desk, countertops and flooring will allow the volunteer members to more efficiently complete their electronic patient care reports that are mandated by the state of New Jersey. An electronic record must be generated for each call.
I chose this project because I am a member of the ambulance squad and also enrolled currently in a carpentry Vo-Tech program. My love of construction started at an early age. When I was 7, I painted my first room and learned how to spackle. My passion for building is still going strong. Last summer I was fortunate enough to apprentice with a master carpenter who was renovating historic homes. I'm sure these skills will be useful in this project.
I hope you will donate to my project as the current space is dilapidated and inadequate for the volunteers. Any extra money from this Go Fund Me will go directly to the Glen Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Squad.
