Renovation to make my home handicap asssessible! I suffer

I was asked to explain why i am in the need of help! My pride has held me back, but now i am in a desperate need to go home! I cannot afford an assistant living situation! I need to go home! I can lecture via Zoom from my home as I was doing before I suffered a stroke! Now I have arthritis in all my joints, I am wheelchair dependant and need surgery on both of my knees! I need to renovate my townhouse so I can live on the first floor and renovate the bathroom to make in handicap asssessible!

I need a stair lift and a wheelchair platform to enter my home!

I am in desperate need of help, because my long illness and so many surgeries and hospital stays has depleted my savings!

I was also asked to remind everyone who I am! This is my introduction:

During my employment at Howard University I spent a large amount of my personal savings to assure many students were able to pay large balances so they could graduate!

I never anticipated that my life would take such a great turn!

I am not sorry for supporting them, because that is who I am!

I have even paid to ship an African student body home to be buried in his country!

My dedication to my University family and the African and Caribbean and international communities including my sponsorship of the Women's Ambassadors Conferences and the DMV communities at large as well was my constant interest!

I have always promoted the Annual Dr. Martin Luther KING Jr. Jazz, Gospel and Spoken Words Annual Concert!

I also founded and served as the Curator of the award winning Art Gallery!

I was the founding advisor of the LGBTQ student organization and served until my retirement!

I was one of the original Co-founders of The Honda All-Star Challenge Academic Program and served on the fouding Board and stepped down to establish the Howard University Honda Campus All-Star Challenge Academic Team and served as the Coach until my retirement!

I hope this will refresh your memory of who I am!

I have just been informed that as of Septeber 15, 2024 I have no where to go! This lease with. my son is ending and I am not moving with him! I am in a desperate situation! I AM crying out for immediate help! I know this is so embarrassing for me, but I have been able to use the first. funds to cover some legal association legal fees and OVERDUE Housing Association fees that had accumulated while I have been sick! i havr gotten some repairs outside as they required but I now need to get the inside done!

I a m financially under water and cannot afford assistant living and I am in a panic situation today! Please help me! PLEASE HELP ME!
