Reopen All NYC Schools 5 Days with Actual Teachers
Donation protected
Good News! We have retained attorney Jim Mermigis , who successfully sued to reopen Scotch Plains schools.
The basis for our NYC lawsuit is that remote learning and "Zoom in a Room" are causing irreparable harm to children and depriving them of their constitutional right to an education.
NYC has some of the strictest Covid standards in the country. Teachers are vaccinated. So many precautions have been taken to make school buildings safe for staff, teachers and students. Our Mayor readily admits schools are the safest places to be.
It is past time to return to normalcy with teachers and children together again in the classrooms. Schools should be open NOW five days a week in person, with actual teachers --not babysitters and computer monitors-- in the classrooms.
We are demanding the elimination of the arbitrary and capricious 2 Case Rule, and to immediately implement CDC guidance with 3 ft social distancing.
Please donate so we can return all of our NYC public school kids to school in person 5 days a week with teachers in every classroom!
