The heart of Armageddon Cake beats with individuality!

We stand behind local artists and musicians, and support the ever-changing diverse culture of Geelong - whilst providing delicious cake and coffee, of course!

Armageddon Cake has been an institution in Geelong for just over ten years. We need a place where we can go at night to get cake, coffee, and conversation (without the need for dinner or a beer).

A place to escape the madness of the world, sit back and relax - and have a laugh over board games with friends.

We are bringing back everything about Armageddon that you love … speciality coffee and cake, table games, original art, old magazines and vintage decor that screams ‘If Granny was a murderer, this is what her home would look like!’.

Like many small businesses, we were struck down by COVID - but the exciting news is … WE ARE COMING BACK!

Now we need YOUR help.

This Go Fund Me aims to raise the last bit of capital needed to reopen Armageddon Cake. We have been excitedly working towards this and will open right after we reach our funding goal. Every dollar that you can spare will be a huge help us and will go directly into re-opening.

We need to raise $17,900 to cover the remaining costs of opening the business.

Funds will go toward everything you know and love about Armageddon Cake:

* Vintage couches, tables and chairs

* Board games, art and knick-knacks for fun at the tables

* Luscious cakes that you know and love

* Glass fridges to keep the cakes fresh and glowing

* Vintage lamps and lighting

* Character signage

* A cheery coat of paint

And of course, the boring stuff:

* Coffee machinery

* Kitchen fit-out

* Permits and documents

* Plumbing and electrical improvements

* Cleaning supplies, fire extinguishers and smoke alarms

* The rental bond and upfront rent for the new premises

The shop is now under new management and not associated with the most recent owners. However, the new owners are crew from the original McLarty Place laneway store who understand the soul and heart of Armageddon.
