ReOpen Mission Tavern
We, at Mission Tavern, have been advocating for the right to safely reopen small businesses since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic. We have adapted our operations in order to keep our bar open, our staff employed, and our community served.
Our ultimate objective is to maintain the freedom for each individual to pursue their path to health, happiness, and livelihood. Every business is capable of maintaining safety for their patrons just as every citizen is capable of making decisions regarding their personal safety.
As the result of our choice to challenge executive orders which limit the reach of the Constitution and American civil liberties, we have received punitive action totaling a 72-hour cease and desist, suspension of our license, and a $10,000 fine.
We are working closely with area bars and restaurants as well as others around the state, local and state lawmakers, local law enforcement, and organizations in support of small business: the ReOpen Minnesota Coalition & Action 4 Liberty.
MISSION TAVERN WILL BE 100% TRANSPARENT WITH THE USE OF THIS FUND! We will address our fines and legal bills and will donate any remaining funds to the ReOpen Minnesota Coalition as well as local charities assisting those impacted by the virus in our community. We will be specific and post evidence for the funds used.
We cannot adequately express our gratitude for the outpouring of support we have received from our Mission family in recent months and weeks, which is continuing to grow every day. We will continue to fight for you and our right to serve you.
