Home Destroyed by fallen tree April 6th in Cheyenne Wy
Donation protected
Good afternoon Here is an Update to all our friends. Today is Aug 25th 2024, So it has been not quite 5 months since the tree fell making Chris and Kathy's house unlivable. Chris and Kathy have been living in an extended stay hotel and recently rented a little apartment, Most all of their belongs are still in storage. Our hero Brad Hoard and his team at Western Sky construction have completely removed the rafters and the interior ceilings of the house. They plumed up the exterior walls that were shoved over when the tree hit. Then they completely rebuilt the rafters, sheeted and shingled the roof rebuilt all the interior ceiling joists and installed new sheet rock. Brad is now finishing the ceiling and walls sheetrock getting ready for texture and paint. In the mean time some people broke into the garage and stole approximately $10,00 dollars worth of musical equipment and personal items. Including a valuable Gibson Les Paul guitar, Costs are pilling up and every cent you all have given is greatly appreciated. We are hoping to receive additional donations so we can completely finish this up and get back into their house Thank you so much for the past and future donations we hope to receive,
+7Hi, My name is Steve Opp and I am fund raising for my friends Chris and Kathy that have had sever damage from a 100 Foot Pine tree breaking off due to a wind storm and smashing thru the house in numerous places. The tree smashed thru the roof punching numerous holes thru the interior of the house and knocking a wall 6 inches off the foundation. The event occurred on April the 6Th 2024, Here in Cheyenne Wy. Living in the house is impossible as of right now. My friends are retired and living on Social Security. The home owners Insurance is not even coming close to completely repairing the damage to make their home livable again.
Any help would be appreciated.
