Repair wind storm damage

On June 18, 2023, 100 MPH wind ripped through Sand Springs, OK leaving behind massive damage and power outages throughout the city. LCCS was without power for 4 days yet all of the teachers showed up to clean up what they could on the playground to make it safe for the children’s return. When power was restored at 9pm they opened their doors to the children at 7:30 the next morning.

We lost our giant sun sail over the sand pit and the support structure was also damaged. We are currently on a waitlist to get a new one installed, but they don’t come cheap. We also have several trees that will need to be professionally trimmed/removed.
