Repairing my mums flooded home

My mum has spent a whole year, her inheritance and hard earned money on renovating her childhood home. After so much hardwork she lived there for just over a month before the storm on the 20th flooded it with the water reaching over 4ft High across the garden and the whole downstairs.

The worst part of all is that my mum had phoned to get house insurance and was honest about the fact it had flooded slightly when she was a child (nothing to this extent!) so the insurance company declined her and she hadn't got around to following up and getting any insurance elsewhere (extremely bad timing).

She's now back to square one having to sofa surf and see all her hard work ripped out and started again with no funds to replace things.

I know times are hard and cost of living has us all strapped for cash but any help at all towards her having to replace plaster, flooring, the entire kitchen and furniture would be appreciated beyond words.
