Repairs for The White Flame Trust Cottage
A very special place exists at the foot of Glastonbury Tor. A place of healing and heart energy, a place of the Sun. T'ai Cottage is a charitable trust property of the White Flame Trust in Glastonbury, nestled amongst the sacred trees and orchard at the foot of Glastonbury Tor.
It was once a vibrant healing space for those in need, offering holistic workshops and an opportunity for individuals to return to nature and connect with their hearts and the heart chakra of the planet. Its history is steeped in magic and mystery as this site was once prominent with the ancient high druids and a place where Mary Magdalene would have sought sanctuary by the well and emanated her teachings.
Isis Livingstone, the initial spiritual teacher of this healing cottage in the woods passed away in 2016, bringing about an end to the retreat and its workshops. With Isis moving on, this once bustling healing center is now in need of maintenance and roofing repair and replacement to transform it back into the high vibrational space it once was. We could do with all the help we can get to restore the space to its former glory.
The White Flame Trust is now resolute upon restoring this beautiful cottage, sacred site and healing garden to a positive healing space for people to experience this incredible energy and sanctuary.
With our volunteers and resident caretaker, a lot of work has already begun on the property and garden with areas being cleared for a ceremonial bell tent and the retreat’s fairy spiral uncovered along with its central fire pit for outdoor ceremonies and the facilitation of healing and heart contemplation. We are so grateful to those who have spent loving time assisting in the restoration of the cottage and gardens, but it still needs a lot of work.
The Quan Yin Temple of crystal sound and the Buddha Lawn has already started to be cleared and we will be able to receive individuals for crystal healing, sound activations, White Flame teachings and Sisters of Avalon Teachings.
We intend to honour the memory and healing space that Isis began and restore the cottage and garden to its former glory, offering holistic workshops, healing therapies, shamanic heart healing ceremonies and Avalon priestess gatherings to those who come to this sacred place of stillness and the Sanctuary of the Heart. Some new roses for the trellises have been donated recently and there is so much more we would like to do with the garden spaces.
Donations would be greatly appreciated to assist us in the urgent repair and upkeep of the property and gardens, as the property will need a new roof and new window lintels and the garden will require some tree surgery and paving work.
