Repairs to Charlies Leaking Roof

Hi, my name is John Egan, and I have been a personal friend of Charlie Williams for about 30-plus years. Charlie lost both of his parents and the house Charlie resides in in the Town of Maynard, where Charlie grew up. Is it a Trust, and Charlie is on a State Disability? Charlie's Personal State Advocate handles his monthly household bill, and his budget is always in the Red. Recently a childhood friend estimated the cost to repair the roof and Chimney would be about 10k USD. Charlie is a highly functional person who needs very little assistance. I know if allowed to raise this money, it could stay under the estimated budget. Anything would help to start this project before the winter. Charlie has the community's backing to provide food, friendship and guidance. Charlie does not have the finances to fix this leak. Please let's try to help Charlie out with this burden of fixing the Roof.
