Repatriate Moses Kellie's body to Africa
Donation protected
Moses Kellie was found deceased at Villawood Detention Centre on 25 January 2019. The cause his death has not been determined, but the family suspects it was a homicide while the government is maintaining it was a suicide.
The government is refusing to repatriate the body of Moses Kellie back to his homeland in Sierra Leone where he can be laid to rest in a culturally appropriate and dignified way. The Government is threatening to burn the body.
The family of Moses Kellie, with the support of 2017 NSW Australian of the Year Deng Adut, are fundraising to raise money to send Moses Kellie's body home to Sierra Leone. We ask that you contribute what you can so that Moses Kellie can finally rest in peace.
