Repatriation of Yolanda and Amani Thando

It is with great sadness to acknowledge the untimely passing of our beloved daughter Yolanda Fulephu and her son Amani Thando Aregawi.

Officials confirmed their untimely passing after weeks of them being missing in Berlin, Germany. Therefore, we are still waiting on further details from the German authorities.

Yolanda was our daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend to many people all over the world. Most importantly, she was Amani Thando´s mother. She lived for her son, loved him dearly, and importantly loved everyone around her with intention. She loved loudly, had so much compassion, and had the kindest heart and everyone around her felt her presence. She was so resilient too.

In this time of grief and confusion, we would like to ask for your support in any way possible.

Unfortunately, our beloved Yolanda and Amani Thando are still in Germany and we would like for donations to enable us to have them back home to ensure that their final resting place is back home in the Eastern Cape.

Thank you for all the love, support, and prayers that we have received thus far. We are truly grateful.

May the Lord our God give us All comfort in this difficult time.

Mit großer Trauer mussten wir den frühzeitigen Tod unserer geliebten Tochter Yolanda Fulephu und ihren Sohnes Amani Thando Aregawi zur Kenntnis nehmen.

Nachdem die beiden wochenlang in Berlin vermisst worden waren, wurden sie Ende Februar aus einem See in Berlin Tod geborgen. Die Umstände wie es zu dieser Tragödie kam sind bislang noch ungeklärt. Die Polizei ermittelt.

Yolanda war nicht nur Tochter, sondern auch geliebte Schwester, Tante, Enkelin, Nichte, Cousine und Freundin. Doch vor allem aber war sie Mutter. Sie lebte für ihren Sohn Amani Thando, liebte ihn und ihre Mitmenschen innig. Sie liebte laut, war einfühlsam und hatte das freundlichste Herz, dass jeder um sie herum spürte.

In dieser Zeit der Trauer und Ungewissheit, wie es zu diesem tragischen Tod unserer beiden Geliebten kam, sind wir um jede Unterstützung dankbar.

Yolanda und Amani Thando sind gemeinsam aus dieser Welt geschieden. Um ihnen ihre letzte Ruhe bei ihrer Familie in Südafrika zu ermöglichen, benötigen wir Spenden für die Überführung.

Wir danken Ihnen für all die Liebe, Unterstützung und Gebete, die wir bisher erhalten haben.
