Many of you might know what happened to my niece Lori and her family on Saturday, May 12, 2018. There were tornado warnings in Pasadena, MD, so Lori, Rodney, and Rodney’s father went outside to bring things indoors when suddenly three oak trees on their next-door neighbor’s property started coming down.   The three of them had to run for cover.  Thank God everyone is alright.  However, the trees crushed Rodney’s car and Rodney’s father’s car and damaged their roof.  Both cars are totaled.

Lori & Rodney have buckets under the roof to catch all of the rain water.   The roof has to be replaced. Because the neighbor’s trees were live, Lori & Rodney are responsible for all of the costs such as tree removal.   Ryan & Emily’s car seats that were in their father’s car were also destroyed and they both need to be replaced.  There will be many out-of-pocket expenses for them, such as insurance deductibles.

We have been asked how you can help so we started this page for Lori, Rodney, Ryan & Emily.  They are negotiating with the insurance company.  Any funds will go toward the gap in insurance coverage as they repair and replace what they have lost.  We thank you in advance for any way you can help out.
