Replace Backstop at Frank E. Sollecito Ballpark

Hi my name is Nicole my son plays on the Monterey High School Varsity Baseball Team. The team uses Frank E. Sollecito ballpark as there home field. Unfortunately, over the years the wooden backstop has rotted out. Fortunately my husband Stephan Russo’s father is willing to donate his time to replace the backstop, however material is extremely expensive. We are looking to our community to help raise the money any left over funds will be donated to the baseball program at Monterey High School. The City of Monterey does own the field however Monterey High is responsible if the field needs improvements or repairs. This is why we are looking to the community to help raise the funds needed.
