Replace Newton Lifeguards stolen equipment!

Newton Lifeguard Club sits on Newton Beach in Porthcawl, our members volunteer to do weekend beach duties through the summer and we have a thriving nippers section for the kids! We are a small club made up entirely of volunteers and receive no official funding. This weekend, our clubhouse portacabin in the dunes was sadly broken into. After forcing entry the thieves went through the whole cabin, and have stolen quite a bit of our kit, including things like the radios we use to communicate with the emergency services. We are estimating its probably going to cost us £1500 to repair the damage and replace all of the equipment. Needless to say the kit is essential to keep the beach safe and the club can ill afford such a big expense.

If anyone can help with any donations of equipment or cash donations, however small to our go fund me, it would be hugely appreciated! All of the funds raised from this page will go to the club account. Thanks all!
