Replace Sheletha's Stolen Power Chair

HELP OUR DEAR SISTER REPLACE A STOLEN ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR!

Her electric wheelchair was STOLEN while at a doctor’s appointment:

Today while my sister Sheletha Evans was at her doctor’s appointment someone stole her electric wheelchair.

My sister Sheletha Evans who lost her leg due to diabetes, was given this chair to help her with mobility. This chair was her legs, so that she could move about the house and the community with dignity.

She has been through a lot, and even with the loss of her leg, and regular doctor visits for dialysis due to kidney failure, she still remained a vibrant member of the Ann Arbor community where she lives.

She is the most caring and nurturing individual I have ever met. She can often be found giving advice to many of the folks who live in her community. She is a mother, sister, aunt, friend to anyone that needs one.

This has been a crushing blow felt not only by her, but the entire community.  This power chair was her legs, her since of dignity to allow her to move with independence.

We are all saddened that this happened to such a wonderful person. Her life hasn’t been easy, it’s been a journey. Electric power chairs are expensive and anything helps.

Thank you
