Note from Stacey Hartmann: I am a longtime friend of pianist/piano teacher Stella Pradeau. Stella and her family lost their Louisville, Colorado, home - including her beloved piano - to the Marshall Fire on Dec. 30, 2021. Stella has given so much to the community during her many years teaching piano students (including my two daughters) and accompanying various choral groups (Cantabile; Boulder Children's Chorale/Boulder Chorale) and church groups (Valmont Community Presbyterian) throughout Boulder County. If you've heard Stella play (see video), you know she is a gifted musician and a loving music teacher who needs this central tool of her trade! While we can never fully replace the exquisite Steinway B Model from her parents that was lost, we can help Stella attain a quality replacement piano to resume her teaching and professional commitments to the students and local music groups that benefit so much from her talents! Stella’s piano was more than wood, ivory and wires. It was a centerpiece of many recital memories, dedicated musical learning, and artistic expression, and as my daughter describes, “a gift that gives back to the community.” Thank you for your support!
