Help replace the Nickel's van.

Hi, I'm Jessica and am lucky enough to be Jenn Nickel's sister. The Nickels are much more used to giving than receiving. The thought of this makes them squirm in their seats, but this is a great time for them to accept your offers of support. I'll explain at the end how this can be used to bless others.

If you know the Nickels you know they are free with their time, love, encouragement, inspiration and finances. They support many people, children and even other families without any expectation of anything in return. Jenn's the kind of person that when she sees someone on the streets struggling she doesn't toss a few dollars and walk away. She asks them what they need, goes and buys a sleeping bag, winter coat, food, boots and a tent.

If you've followed their story you already know they are responsible for many amazing children. They don't see it as a responsibility, but an honour and it shows. Whether it's through genetics, adoption, foster care or even friendship, to know them is to be loved, accepted and welcomed. They enrich the lives of many by providing life experiences and genuine love, care and support.

Their VAN, yes THAT VAN, what a saga this has been! They have just sunk even more into it to get it going once again. They rely on this van and rarely have less than 9 passengers to transport. Getting to cultural events, family functions, appointments and of course Costco is an absolute must. The van left the repair shop yet again to only limp back home needing repairs totalling more than the value of the van. The van has been a blessing in so many ways, but the ongoing expense has been outrageous. The most difficult part is that a replacement vehicle for a large family is a huge strain on the budget.

Please, if you are able, donate towards their vehicle replacement fund. This will be SO appreciated and a blessing to their family. To twist my sister's arm to allow us to do this the Nickels will be donating 10% of all gifts received to a worthy cause.
