About us:

We are Lost Souls of Mexico, a small Adoption Agency based in Vancouver BC who support a small Dog and Cat Rescue in Chetumal, MX named PAW.

PAW is the only Rescue in the city and runs on no funding, minimal/ infrequent donations and is completely cared for by one woman on a missions to end animal suffering in her community. Madi provides low-cost spay and neuter clinics and rescue animals from cruelty cases, focusing on those in the most desperate need. She offers guidance on animal welfare to local pet owners and prepare cats and dogs for adoption to Canada, giving them a second chance at a loving home. Our mission is to improve the lives of animals through sterilization, rescue, education, and international adoptions.

A few months ago, our beloved rescue vehicle, which was vital to our lifesaving work, broke down for good. This has been an incredibly difficult time for us, as we relied on this vehicle not only to take dogs and cats to their vet appointments but also to carry out rescue missions across the city. Most importantly, this vehicle was crucial for transporting animals to the Cancun airport, which is 6 hours away, so they could fly to their new families in Canada. Without transport, we have not been able to get any of our animals to their new forever families...all adoptions have halted, and the rescue is over flowing as the need does not end... Despite trying to find alternative transport methods, this fundraiser is our last hope...

Here’s how your donation will make a difference:

-Transporting animals to the Cancun airport: A new vehicle will allow us to continue flying animals to their forever homes in Canada, where they will be loved and cared for.

-Vet visits and rescues: We can ensure animals get the medical care they need and continue to rescue animals in desperate situations across the city/ surrounding areas.

-Saving lives: Without a reliable vehicle, we risk being unable to get animals to safety when they need us the most.
