Replace yarn for charity knitting

Hi, my name is Laura and I've created this GoFundMe page to raise money for the knitters at a Senior Living community in McKinney, Texas. The residents experienced a significant flood at the facility on Christmas Eve 2022 that destroyed their inventory of yarn (along with many other things). The residents use this yarn to knit hats, scarves, and blankets for the needy in their area, including a homeless shelter, and a domestic abuse shelter. Over the past two years, they have donated more than 350 items.

All funds will be used to replace the damaged yarn and knitting supplies so that the knitting group can reconvene and begin new projects. I have been supporting this group of women for the past 2 years - both with yarn and completed works. I think this kind of activity is invaluable in a senior living facility because it promotes community and gives the residents a purpose.
