Hello, my name is Ruslan Gurzhiy. I am a California-based journalist reporting on the war in Ukraine. I'm going to Ukraine to deliver news for our Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking communities in the United States.

 

 

Our Russian-language news portal SlavicSac.com tirelessly covers war actions in Ukraine for our Slavic community in the U.S. These days, we are seeing a lot of growth across our channels, and we are experiencing a lack of resources and funds to precisely report on the situation in Ukraine.

 

Since 2014 we have been deliberately combating disinformation in the U.S., especially on the West Coast. Unfortunately, many of our United States-based viewers and readers won't have access to reliable news sources because they cannot read in English or get their news from foreign news outlets.
