Represent Australia Overseas

Hi Everyone! My name is Ti-Anna Horsley, I’m 21 years old currently living in the beautiful Hunter Valley. I am here to share my dream in hope you may help me achieve it.

From a young age I found a passion to dance. All the time, I loved it! When I broke my leg at the age of nine, I thought it was the end of the world. It wasn’t until my mum saw a flyer that I realised it was the start.

Bat-ton twirling isn’t something you may hear of often, little own having a team to represent it in America, however myself and a team of five other women are soon on our way.

Over the past 13 years I have been so lucky to compete in local, state and national competitions having great success winning multiple trophies and medals. In 2017 my team represented Australia and came home with not only gold medals but so much joy and pride to be able to represent a country and to be seen as role models to so many young Australian hoping to reach their dreams.

Since this it has only inspired our team to keep pushing and strive further.

This includes a very limited social like with practice in Sydney every weekend which meant a six hour train ride Friday and Sunday nights.

This year we will be representing Australia again in England.

Since finding this out we have all been saving like crazy and received some donations from close friends and family, to which I will be forever grateful for.

The cost of the trip including travel, accomodation and expenses will be about $20,000. So far I have close to $17,000.

Now we approaching July at light speed I am seeking any support at all possible to get me across the finish line.

Not only is this sport my passion and dream, knowing I got there with the support of my friends and family is what will fuel the fire to make Australia proud once more.
