Repro Worker Aid Fund

We are union workers in the reproductive health, rights, and justice movement--we work at clinics, legal and advocacy organizations, research centers, and more. And as union abortion care workers, we know that access to safe and legal abortions is a workers' rights issue. Almost a year has passed since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and repro workers across the country have been losing hours at work, or their jobs altogether, due to abortion bans. When states ban abortions, workers lose their livelihoods. Given the larger structural systems of oppression in this country, we know that workers of color, immigrant workers, younger workers, queer and trans workers, and particularly Black women workers, disproportionately lack access to benefits like severance packages or union contracts simply due to their socioeconomic status. As a collective, we recognize the need to take care of our own, and we hope you will join us in donating to and spreading awareness of this GoFundMe campaign supporting the ReproJobs Repro Worker Aid Fund.

All donations will be made to Repro Union Workers United, a Delaware corporation which has an application for 501(c)(3) status currently pending with the IRS, and will then be granted by Repro Union Workers United to the ReproJobs Repro Worker Aid Fund.
