Request for Support for Terry Romaine

Dear Friends,

We are reaching out with an urgent appeal on behalf of our dear friend, Terry Romaine, who is currently facing a significant health challenge. Terry, who successfully battled Multiple Myeloma seven years ago, has been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a form of cancer, which has unfortunately returned.

Terry is in Clear Water, Florida undergoing cancer treatment. Terry's income is only limited to Social Security Disability, with Medicare as his health insurance. Amidst this, Terry is also navigating a divorce, which restricts all access to family assets pending a judgment on their division.

Terry has commenced chemotherapy and will soon start a medication costing approximately $10,000 monthly. It is currently unclear if these costs will be covered by insurance. Additional expenses include treatment-related costs and basic living expenses.

Recognizing the financial strain many are experiencing, if we could suggest donations of under $100. However, any contribution, no matter the size, will be immensely appreciated and will go towards covering Terry's medical and living expenses.

As Terry progresses through his treatment, he will need support with daily tasks, including transportation to medical appointments and grocery shopping. Terry will be spending parts of his treatment in quarantine at his two-bedroom home in Clearwater, Florida, and will require assistance during these times and others.

In closing Terry has not ask me to establish this GoFundMe. But I know the hidden costs that he will be encountering and SSD will not be enough.
