Rerouting Cork City Marathon for Arc House

Tony Houlihan is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Cork ARC Cancer Support House.

As the Cork City Marathon has been postponed I have decided that I will instead run a marathon within 5km of my house in Carrigaline. If the restrictions are lifted I will extend the route to an allowable distance.

I am aiming to raise €1000 for Arc House Cancer Support which is an amazing Charity that helps people with their battle with cancer and also give tremendous support to their families. We all know someone who has fought courageously against cancer and Arc House are always on hand to help in that fight, especially now during this pandemic when dealing with cancer has become so much more difficult for families and loved ones.

I will start my Marathon at 11am on Sunday May 31st, the same day as the Cork City Marathon was to happen, however it will now take place in and around 5km of my house in Carrigaline.

If you could please dig deep and support this amazing cause I would be extremely grateful. Cancer takes so many of our loved ones and Arc House will always be there for people who need them.
