My name is Sam, and I reside in the state of Texas. I am initiating a GoFundMe campaign for my cousin and her Father, who are trapped in the unforgiving grip of the Gaza Strip. She recently graduated as a data scientist engineer; her mind filled with dreams of a better tomorrow. Yet, those dreams have been mercilessly crushed by the relentless onslaught of conflict.

Once, my cousin's family knew a life of tranquility, surrounded by the warmth of a beautiful home and the bounty of a flourishing farm. But all of that has been reduced to rubble by the cruel hands of war. Now, they dwell in a tattered tent, stripped of the most basic human necessities – clean water, food, and even medication.

A message from Amera Abdalsalam Almanasra rings out with haunting resonance: " We love life when we find a way to it. As a Gazan citizen, I have endured the horrors of war firsthand before. Our once vibrant existence, including our cherished home and beloved farm, now lies in ruins.

In June 2023, I completed my BS degree, my heart brimming with hope for the future. But the bitter realities of conflict shattered those dreams. With no opportunities for employment in sight, I find myself powerless to provide for my family of 13 – including my retired father, my mother, and siblings who once worked in agriculture after my father's retirement. My younger siblings have been unable to continue their education due to the destruction. We’ve been left with nothing, but the clothes on our backs, scavenging the rubble for things we can use to make it through the next day.”

Their situation is dire, a daily struggle for survival amidst the debris of their shattered lives. Younger siblings, robbed of their right to education, gaze into an uncertain future. They cling to nothing but the tattered remnants of their existence, fueled by an unyielding desire to rebuild.
