Rescue kitten's off the streets of Greece
Donation protected
Hi my name is Heather thank you for taking the time to read my story. I'm fundraising to get kitten like chaos off the streets of crete and in to loving homes. The volunteers go out there way to help these gorgeous animals free of charge so i thought how can i help them. So i set up this page to help them with food, vet bills, bedding. Anything they need. Chaos is one of the lucky ones who is coming over to Scotland. Im so sorry i hate asking people for help but couldnt leave this one behind. He turned up at the hotel my son and his girlfriend were staying at we just got home from Greece on 14th October. The weeks holiday started off as a family holiday and then chaos this is what we have named the cat started hanging around us ( I know this happens to everyone) and very soon we all got so attached to him. So I posted on Facebook to see how you go about bringing a cat home from Greece. Luckily someone seen my post and got me in contact with volunteers who try and help rescue street cats. The hotel staff didn't want him round the hotel and he was getting into fights with bigger cats around the hotel. once the the season ends at the end of October then the hotel gets locked up and the owners German shepherd dog roam the ground. Well I couldn't leave him there to potentially get mauled so I had to try and see how I go about bringing him back over to Scotland. The volunteer people can help me get him as far as potentially Cambridge then I would have to drive there to collect him. So me being me had to focus on rescuing this kitten who we now know is around 6 months old. Myself and my family managed to secure him in a crate on our last day of our holiday and get him to the vet to get all his checks treatments needed microchip vaccinations and paperwork he needs to come over here he needs to stay in the vet for a week before the volunteer person Linda can collect him and then another lady Tracee can arrange flights for him. As you can imagine this is going to be costly but I couldn't just leave him behind. I will keep everyone updated on his progress the vet will be in constant contact with me aswell as the volunteer rescue people. Thank you all so much for your helpful donations every penny helps get closer to saving these gorgeous animals get off the streets. #savechaos.
