Rescue and Rebuild for the Parrills

Hi my name is Maria Locke. I am from Corner Brook, NL and As many of you already know My good friend Allison and her parents, Gord and Pauline Parrill are stranded on the island of Sint Maarten and are dealing with the horrific aftermath of Hurricane Irma. The main priority right now is getting them off the island and to safety. Global Affairs Canada does not currently have an evacuation plan, and the Parrill family will have to re-purchase emergency evacuation flights. Allison lost nearly everything in this horrible event and will need money to start over once she re-starts medical school in the USA.
If you could donate even a small amount to this effort, it would be incredibly appreciated. Donations will be withdrawn by Allison's Sister Erika Parrill and then deposited into her parents bank account so they have direct access to the funds! Thank you and please share!
Update: The Parrill's are on a plane and headed to Chicago. Thank you everyone who has shared posts, provided information, and has contributed to the rescue and rebuild of the Parrill's. Your support has been overwhelming. We are so fortunate to have such great friends and family.
We are now re-focusing on helping Allison build a new life for herself in the USA. To continue her education, Allison is going to need to replace items lost in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. She is also going to have to find a new place to live. It is incredibly expensive having to move and start a new life in a foreign country. Let alone, having to do it twice in one week. If you are able to help Allison embark on this next chapter of her life, it would be incredibly appreciated.
