Rescue Boyd from Euthanasia: Donate Now

Hello, fellow animal lovers! For roughly the last year or so, this lovely, sweet boy (Boyd) and his mother (Mama) have been living in the woods behind my mother's workplace. My mother and a close family friend have been taking care of these strays by feeding them and occasionally playing with them too. These dogs became increasingly bonded to my mother and her friend as well. Boyd even going so far as to laying by my mother's side as she hand-fed him! Unfortunately, Mama recently got hit by a car and crossed over to Rainbow Bridge. Without anyone to protect him, on August 16th, 2024, Boyd was taken into custody by local animal control services. Animal control services won't let any of us near his kennel to comfort him but has been described by staff as shaking in the corner of the wall, too scared and sickly with heart-worms to eat. Fortunately for us, animal control is willing to release Boyd back to our family friend with the exception that he get immediate treatment for his heart-worms and other medical issues. However, the total cost of this would be around $1,000. Neither my mother nor our friend have these funds currently. Since this is kill shelter... staff has come out and said that they are going to euthanize this sweet, poor, innocent dog if our friend can't pay up soon.

Time is running out so we want to do everything in our power to SAVE BOYD!
