RESCUE DOGS & CATS FROM YULIN 2023

We're raising money to help our sister page 'Plush Bears Shelter' (www.plushbearsshelter.org) rescue dogs and cats from the nefarious Yulin Dog Meat Festival 2023.

Although it doesn't start until June 21st, you don't have to look very hard to find dogs trapped in tiny cages and piles of dead dog carcasses.

Funds will be used to rescue dogs and cats and provide the necessary vet care post-rescue. Updates will be provided and after Yulin, they will go to their rescue base in North China to rehabilitate them with the endeavour to eventually adopt overseas.

Every year the Yulin dog-eating festival sparks global fury & outrage with a strong outcry for its banishment. The Yulin dog meat festival is the most visible manifestation of a much larger year-round problem, which claims the lives of approximately ten million dogs and four million cats annually throughout China.

We are appealing to support the work of activists on the ground to help rescue dogs and cats who have fallen prey to the very worst of humanity.

Dogs are commonly seen trapped in rusty cages waiting in line to die or being sold in bags at markets like inanimate objects.

While more dogs arrive on trucks, heading straight to Yulin slaughterhouses.

Most dogs that end up here never get a second chance and their stories go untold. Staying silent won't make it stop, we need to increase international pressure and heighten awareness..
