Thank you all for your generosity in helping Ellen and Nico find a new home and replace their belongings. We were able to reach our original goal, but after a few days of apartment hunting, the reality is setting in that we need to increase the goal. Rents in LA are HIGH, not to mention when you have dogs, and when there are thousands of people looking for homes. Ellen and Nico send their gratitude for everyone who has donated and those who have come to donate today. We are all aware how many Angelinos are in need right now, and it means a lot that you've chosen this fundraiser to support!

Hello friends and family of Ellen & Nico Dante, and Deity Animal Rescue!

As many of you know, Ellen and her son Nico lost their home and all of their belongings in the Palisades fire. They were able to escape with their beloved dogs, but nothing else. Ellen is the heart and soul of Deity Rescue. She has saved hundreds of dogs from the shelters, making sure they end up in the right home, are cared for, and cherished for the rest of their lives. Many of you reading this are the wonderful families who benefited from bringing a Deity dog into your home. We are so grateful for your support of the Deity mission, and so now we're asking you to help us find Ellen and Nico a home!

In order to help Ellen and Nico do that, we've set up this GoFundMe. Finding a dog-friendly rental home in LA is always a challenge and usually expensive. Ellen's dogs are mostly seniors with special needs, so it's imperative that we find a stable environment for the family ASAP. Any amount you can donate to help them get into a home and replace their belongings is appreciated.

Additionally, if you have any leads on a dog-friendly rental in LA, please reach out to us! The great news is that Ellen, Nico, and their dogs are all potty trained, well-behaved, and very clean/tidy. They will make excellent tenants!
