Summary: This is an Urgent Evacuation Fund - to Help Rescue My Uncle and Cousins from Gaza. They're Stranded Without Food, Water, Electricity and Shelter for the Past 5 Months!

My name is Ahmed, a Canadian of Palestinian descent living in Canada. With great sadness, I am reaching out to you today for help getting my Uncle and cousins out of Gaza.

My dear Uncle and cousins are trapped in Gaza, facing unimaginable hardship. They are without food, water, or electricity, and worst of all, they are not safe. Every moment is filled with fear and uncertainty.

With each passing day, their struggle intensified as they have lost not only their home but also their livelihoods, their beloved pets, and their sense of security.

During the war, my Uncle and cousins evacuated from Northern part of Gaza to the South, becoming homeless and evacuating more than four times already trying to search for a chance of survival since there is no safe place in Gaza. Plus the lack of access to clean water and food can result in number of diseases and so finding medication is almost impossible at this time due to the fall of the whole medical system in the Gaza strip.

I have a total of twelve family members (my beloved Uncle and wife, two cousins and their wives, and their three nephews and three nieces) including a new born baby girl that does not have the any official identification except for 'Birth Certificate' only since she was born two weeks prior to the war.

As a results, I am the only hope for them to leave Gaza and going to be responsible for all costs going forward. Please help me collect the application fees, travel costs for twelve people in order facilitate my Uncle and cousins evacuation.

I am setting up a GoFundMe campaign to raise CAD $93,000 CAD and here is the breakdown of funds:

($93,000 CAD = around $68,501 USD/ $1.00 CAD = $0.736 USD)

A total of $2,697 CAD will be used to cover GoFundMe's transaction fees (2.9% plus $0.30 per donation)
A total of $81,460 CAD has been allocated to cover the expenses associated with obtaining permits to leave Gaza, as well as Rafah border crossing and transportation fees (Egypt - Gaza border). This amount breakdown to USD is USD $5,000 X 12 people = $60,000 USD($6,788 CADX 12 people = $81,460 CAD)
It is estimated that $8,843 CAD will be sufficient to cover basic needs in Egypt, including their accommodation, food and other essentials. (12 people)
