Rescue over 100 bunnies before they are killed
Tax deductible
Dear Friends
We are about to undertake a major rescue effort, and we need your help. We were contacted very recently by the Chief Police from a local jurisdiction, asking if we could rescue about 100+ domestic bunnies. They are currently fending for themselves, outside, in his area. Their food is inadequate or non-existent, they don't have clean water to drink, and some of them are no doubt being attacked by predators or run over by cars.
We all know how this started … a less than responsible person purchased a couple of bunnies who were not spayed or neutered. When she learned that they are high maintenance animals, and required much more care than what she anticipated, she dumped them outside. Then they did what bunnies do-they procreated.
To make a long story short, there are over 100 bunnies in this local community, and they will be killed by an exterminator if they are not rescued. We could not turn our back on them, even though we knew that it would a tremendous challenge for us to rescue them.
Would you please help us to save them? We need to raise money for their vet bills, food, carriers, litter boxes, Timothy hay and many other supplies.
Our goal is to raise at least $40,000. We know that what we are asking may sound like a lot of money, but considering the large amount of rabbits, their unknown health conditions and the fact that all of them will need to be neutered/spayed, microchipped and vaccinated even that amount of money might not be enough.
So if you love bunnies, have compassion in your heart and want to do something significant, please help us to help them.
Thank you
