Rescue Ringo

Hi Everyone, my name is Jade and I’m not one to normally to seek out help but you guys…

 I am in desperate NEED of some help. My bull terrier, Ringo had to have very serious emergency surgery late last night (day before thanksgiving) unexpectedly. I was told if Ringo did not go through surgery he would die within 24-48 hours. I put myself in some serious debt to just get him in there to operate. His stomach was literally FULL & overflowing with foreign objects that he could not or would not pass. Not even sure where he ate most of the things they found. Definitely an accumulation over the years. 

Unfortunately, it was basically worst case scenario in surgery and his intestines had become blocked & compromised. He had a string wrapped around his intestines scrunching them up like an accordion. The doctor is still very worried about his intestines, which is frightening.

Ringo is now home with me, but he will have to go back to the vet several more times. He is not out of the woods yet. Since they had to operate on his intestines there is a lot more risk in his recovery. I am remaining positive because he is one tough pup! However, I am concerned. Ringo is obviously worth is to me but this surgery is costing me thousands of dollars.

These next two weeks are going to be critical and challenging.

I had to put cat down a couple weeks ago, which was also unexpected.

My credit cards are maxed out. I work landscaping full time, I live alone and I love my animals more then I love myself.

Please help in any way that you can. I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for my friends, family and community and the Doctors at Alpine Animal Hospital.

I will keep posting updates as I can! Even if you cannot contribute personally (which I totally get) especially considering the holidays and all, I would appreciate anyone that would repost my story.
