Rescue the Tanani family from the Gaza War

I'm Steven Panovski. I work at UBX Cloud and am raising funds on behalf of my co-worker and my dear friend, Ali Tanani. My goal is to get his family out of the Gaza warzone and to safety. Currently, we have the ability to get just him out as he is authorized to leave Palestine, but NOT his pregnant wife or children. I am a father and a husband, and my wife is also 7 months pregnant, and I know the impossibility of leaving them behind.
Since October, my team and I at UBX Cloud have been working on getting the Tanani family across the Rafah border and safely to Michigan or another country where UBX has an office presence. It has been incredibly challenging, but with a contribution from the people within our circle, we can make it happen.
Our financial goals are to cover the following costs and expenses during this process. Unfortunately, we got to a point as a company where we couldn't contribute anymore, and that is why we are seeking assistance from all of you.
Here is a breakdown of our $52,980 USD request and the benefits of your contribution.
- Legal Fees from immigration attorney
- Administrative and consulting fees
- US Customs and USCIS filing and priorty fees
- Petition to Michigan Congress and other outreach efforts
- Transportation out of Gaza and into safe zone
- Medical care, Temporary lodging, shelter and food supplies.

UBX Cloud is a 16-year-old class S corporation that is registered in the State of Michigan. UBX is NOT a 501c3 charity and any contributions made on GoFundMe are NOT tax deductible. Our goal at UBX is to simply act as a facilitator in this process on behalf of our employee, Ali Tanani.
UBX will follow the guidelines outlined below to be as transparent and responsible as possible for activities relating to the collection and use of funds.
- Donated funds will be stored in a dedicated checking account and will be tracked.
- Vendor payments for charity activities will be taken from that account only.
- Anything paid outside of the account will require a reimbursement form complete and invoice.
- All payments to vendors will be documented and notated.
- All surplus funds will be accounted for and furnished to the Tanani family.
The good news is that we have an internal commitment that once Ali & family have made it to safety, UBX Cloud will be financially and logistically taking care of their permanent settlement and medical care and will work on helping them rebuild their lives. If any surplus funds are left over from the process (unlikely), the funds will go towards these efforts.
