Rescue the Underdog's Holiday Relief Fund

This is Maddox. 


Rescue the Underdog is getting him on Saturday. 


Maddox has been severely neglected and has been living outside in a carrier for years with no social contact outside when he is given food and water.  


His hair is extremely matted and he sleeps in his own feces.  Maddox is now 12 years old.


Maddox is just one of the many dogs Rescue the Underdog saves throughout the year and we are able to do so, thanks to donors like you.


Right now, our rescue is out of funds and we anticipate over $15,000 in veterinary expenses for Maddox and dogs like Maddox between now and the New Year.

Rescue the Underdog

Rescue the Underdog for CARES is a small San Francisco based, volunteer-run organization that saves dogs from being euthanized in high kill shelters.  We are part of Center for Animal Rescue and Education in Solano, a 501(c)(3) organization

 

We try to save as many dogs as we can and our goal is to save them all.  We take in the dogs that no other rescue will take. We take the elderly, the injured, the maladjusted.  We take them all. For us, there is no greater joy than to see an underdog's transformation, from the time they are pulled from the shelter to when they are adopted by a loving family.
