Rescue Lane - Expenses

We are a small rescue working out of Houston, TX. We primarily pull dogs from death row at both BARC and Harris County animal shelters. Sometimes, we pick up strays in need of help as well. Although BARC covers medical fees for the dogs, Harris County expects rescues to spay/neuter and cover advanced medical expenses. 

Sometimes, due to the limited nature of time that an animal may have at the shelter, and the difficulty of finding foster homes, we may need to board a dog temporarily. Boarding costs anywhere from $10 to $25 per day.

Any donation you can make is so helpful to our rescue and to the dogs we help. A $60 donation will cover the cost of one small dog at SNAP. A $75 donation will cover the cost of one spay. $20 buys a large bag of dog food.
