Residential Hospice Care
Donation protected
Two years ago I met the best person in the world, my now husband Dave Heatwole. On February 1, 2017 he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, inoperable, incurable. After four months of radiation and chemotherapy he has decided he has had enough treatment which isn’t helping and wants hospice care.
He is too weak to live at home and the WV Panhandle has an inpatient hopice facility which is super nice. He can stay there and be safe without worrying about falling or getting any new injuries.
Although he is covered to be at hospice in patient, insurance does not cover residential hospice. He cannot get around his home due to extreme weakness and shortness of breath.
The past four months have been very tough on me and his family. If you can help us with any funds so he can stay at hospice and be safe, it would be much appreciated.
