Residents Protecting Montgomery, NY

We are raising money to protect our Town and historic villages and the beautiful landscape surrounding us from massive facilities that will harm many aspects of our community as well as our environment.

We are a community group formed in response to the overwhelming number of projects in front of the Town of Montgomery Planning Board, including two mega warehouses (over 1 million square feet each) proposed for opposite ends of the Town.

We plan to use donated funds for signs and fliers to get the word out in our community, for permits required to use pavilions for our community meetings,  and for t-shirts. We also have discussed using donated funds for legal advice as these issues progress in our Town if necessary, although we recognize that legal action will take significant funds.

We are running on the cheap and volunteering our time and talents, and we look forward to working with our neighbors to protect Montgomery!
