Resilient Airman & his Family in Need
Donation protected
As SSgt Na’im Smith’s wingmen, we felt it was imperative to determine all the ways to support him and his family during a very trying time. Unfortunately, due to the enduring nature of this issue, financial support has emerged as a top need. Contributions to this fund will relieve some financial stress for Na’im and his family, and most importantly, it will allow them to focus on remaining emotionally and mentally resilient.
Na’im is an active duty Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force and stationed at the Pentagon with his wife, who is 5 months pregnant. He grew up in inner-city Baltimore and he has been excited to be stationed closer to friends and family, especially as they celebrate the upcoming birth of their first child.
Unfortunately in mid-August, his younger sister was involved in a tragic incident in Baltimore that nearly took her life. She remains in critical care, and she continues to go through numerous surgeries to restore her health. However, it’s unclear when she will be released from the hospital, and even after she leaves the hospital, there will be a long road to recovery.
Funds raised will be used to cover the cost of meals, parking at the hospital, gas for trips from DC to Baltimore, and hotel stays as needed depending on the surgery schedule.
Thank you for your support of Na’im and his family!
